The exhibition “Otto modi per dire incisione”, eight techniques interpreted by twenty artist’s works, wants to be an opened door upon the world of the graphic engraved, that could offer to everybody a way to be in contact with the original art press.

Seven engraving techniques have been selected: xylography, burin, puntasecca, black manner, etching, acquatinta, lithography, and as eighth it has been considered the contemporary use of some techniques into the same work (mixed technique).

Every technique is illustrated by a short explanatory note and presented by many artists’ works.
